Meeting was held at Goshen High School Coach Elliot's room
8 Members were present

Coaches Corner:
Thanks to the Coaches and Gladiator Football boy's who attended the Weight room painting while on Spring Break. The room is painted and it looks beautiful! Great job!

The floor in the weight room should be replaced sometime in the very near future.

Food Pantry is May 14th, 2011 at 8:30 AM at the Presbyterian Church in Goshen-Encourage your son to provide this great community service!!

Helmet's-should be coming soon.

Other Community service that is available to the boys is as follows:

Volunteer's are needed for Miracle People-Beautiful People on Sunday's between 9:45 AM and 12:00 Noon at the Wallkill Little League park where they provide assistance to handicap in playing base ball.

Also June 05, 2011 at the Minisink Valley High School is a fundraiser for Miracle People-Beautiful People where a $10.00 donation is requested and you walk around the track. This donation will help the fundraiser for the organization to get a rubberized track, and a handicap accessible field is made for there use in the future!

7 on 7 June 19th,2011 at Washingtonville-so far 9 kids have signed up for

July 11-15 Summer Camp is available. The cost is $ 95.00 see Coach Elliott for more information if your son would like to attend.

Three Seniors have applied for the scholarship money that has been put aside - Names will be announced at the Class Day event planned at the High School.

Update on the Association:

Raffle ticket fundraiser has been completed! The winners are $ 300.00 "for the Boy's" $ 100.00 to Laurie Mann and $ 50.00 to S. Lahey.

May 21st is the Annual Welcome Event at Goshen High School between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM for the Coaches, Parents and Players. Food will be provided by the Touchdown Club. We are looking forward to meeting with you!

Website: Downgrading to a Silver plan to save on money due to some features that we have not been using.

Sponsorship letters are being solicited and currently we have 7 sponsors that are committed to support the team for the fall season of 2011.

The Treasury books are being still at the accountant for audit. This should be completed by May 15, 2011.

Fundraisers: Applebee's has a 18 months wait for this fundraiser. A date of September 01, 2012 has been booked.

Xgrain sweatshirts - Many individuals have already expressed interest. We are going to place an order once we have 13 requests.

G W's is Chester is willing to help with a "Family Event" which we are looking to do, October 15, 2011. The cost is yet to be determined, but it will be from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM and it will allow you to play 2 games-2 slices of pizza and a beverage.

Cheeseburger Paradise has a voucher system where a % of sales goes to your organization. It's a Monday-Tuesday - Wednesday - that we are looking into for possibly June. They require 2- 4 weeks notice.

Treasury Report:

Current Balance $ 5,078.32

Expenses: 325.00 for the paint
73.00 for supplies
60.00 for the pizza for those that attended the Weight room painting
175.00 for the 7 on 7 camp

Profit for the Raffle sales were $ 163.00

The next meeting is scheduled for June 01, 2011 (Wednesday) at the Goshen High School. So please mark your calendar's!
